Lots of cool ideas for hot summer days! We have a full programme of activities for residents and visitors of all ages during high season.
OPEN STUDIO
We're opening up the studio to anyone who fancies doing a bit of creative R&R on holiday. There are materials for drawing, painting (watercolour & acrylic), and basic printmaking available, for use inside or outside the studio, along with suggestions to help you get started, and help and advice to keep you going. Plus there are always refreshments, stories and laughs as added bonuses.

KIDS' DROP-IN
Tuesday mornings are for children to explore their own creativity, with paint, pencils, paper and much more available in the studio. There are some ideas to get them started, but they can do whatever they want with the material at hand - the whackier and more imaginative, the better. Maybe they will make pictures of Vis; maybe they want to recreate their gaming characters; or maybe it's all about shimmer and sparkle - anything goes here!

SKETCHING IN VIS
NEW FOR 2026!
Enjoy the moment and create fabulous memories by sketching the beautiful vistas and architecture of Vis town, under the guidance of an experienced artist. Every Wednesday morning in summer, VISual Arts Studio owner, Liz Haslemere, will lead an outside drawing group designed for everyone, from those who haven't picked up a pencil since school to those who regularly delight in the awesome benefits of creative activity.
We meet at Lemon Bar for coffee, introduction and instruction, then move around Vis town for drawing, with sketchbooks and art kits. Price includes all materials.
