Art Tuition
A HUGELY important part of our work is with children, introducing them to the wonderful world of art and creativity, and giving them opportunities to learn to express themselves in non-verbal ways,
During the school year, we run weekly groups for kindergarten-ages, for 5-12-year-olds, and for young people, covering many different techniques and topics. We also offer one-to-one private tuition sessions, either in person or online, designed around a child's specific interests and personality, which are very highly regarded and have had a very positive impact on participants.
Some of the topics we have covered include: boat-building from recycled materials; making our own ancient Egyptian papyrus, paint and and brushes; learning about Greek sculpture; land art; and grown-up drawing courses. As you can see, the results have been tremendous!

Individual
One-to-one art tuition is the core of our business, and has become very highly regarded. We offer regular sessions on a term-time basis to all ages and talents, designed around participants' specific interests and aims, either in person or online.
The mood is always relaxed, supportive, and conversational, as we encourage children and adults alike to broaden their ideas of what is 'Art', by looking at art history, experimenting with materials, taking inspiration from unlikely sources, and gaining confidence in techniques.

For an additional fee we are happy to arrange private classes or workshops for families, groups or individuals, outside our advertised schedule.
